Somehow over years, each of us has developed a "routine." Whether it is eating breakfast before we shower, or picking out our clothes to wear for the next day. But somewhere in there we forget to sit down, and read our word. I know, "The King James Version is hard to understand," or "I don't really have time to read the bible, I go to church," and my all time favorite "God knows my heart." You're right, He does know your heart...But do you know His? I've used some of these same excuses. And then they started to make no sense to me. We get comfortable with a routine of telling God we love Him, but not reading the love letter He left for us... The bible. So my question to you is, How in fact do we ACCEPT God's word?

I think we accept God's word when we read, accept it, do what it say, depend on it and live it. We must take self out of the picture and live according to HIS word.. I am learning every day that his WORD is WORD for he can not LIE.

I think that you hit it RIGHT on the head. WE have to depend on what it says, and that's when we accept it. We have to ultimately take full advantage of the fact that God gave us a full guide on how to live our lives. We've gotten arrogant and try to accept our on "word" over His.

First thing is to fully surrender to God our whole selves and learn to trust Him in every situation. It is not easy at first, but the more we surrender the easier it becomes. We must practice the presence of God in our lives daily. We must ask Him to reveal Himself to us through His word. As we continue to grow more confident, His word becomes LIFE to us. Let's receive His word in a surrendered life of obedience and love.

"We must practice the presence of God in our lives daily." Amen Evangelist Hubbard! Wow. That's it right there. We have to allow a spirit of expectance so that we can be acceptant. It doesn't come in one day, it's a matter of pressing through ... Just like we would with anything else in our daily routine.
